We will take the home dog today in the Nationals as their ace Livan Hernandez is returning to form. In his last two outings, he has given up just 3 earned runs in 14 innings as he is one of the toughest pitchers in the league to hit when he is on. This one of the key MVP's in the Marlin's World Series Championship Team and has been the ace of this Nationals and once Expos team. Around this time last year, he made a similar run where in the stretch he won nearly ten games in a row and I beleive his groove starts today. It will start eventually as he is far too talented to not bust out of his "funk." The Nats are coming alive offensively as evidenced by yesterday's explosion against the Astros as they hammered Andy Pettite. It'll be tough for the Dodgers to keep up their offensive onslaught as favorites up to -150 that are scoring 5.3+ runs/game after scoring 6 runs or more 5 straight games are just 11-26 (30%) since 1997. Nats at home here.
