Los Angeles at Texas

Texas sends Mike Minor to the mound tonight and the Rangers have won his last four starts, including 4-2 over Oakland his last start when he allowed no runs on just one hit in six innings. The left-hander now is 10-6 on the season and he has given up more than two runs just once in his last five outings.  Also, Minor has done his best work at home where he is 5-2 with a 3.33 ERA and .220 opponent batting average. The Dodgers have some problems in the bullpen, especially with closer Kenley Jansen, and he probably will be rested for this game. Los Angeles has lost Alex Wood's last three starts although he hasn't gotten much run support. In addition, the Dodgers have lost Wood's last four interleague starts. Texas has won 11 of its last 15 interleague home contests against teams with winning records. There is good value in the home underdog, so play the Rangers.
