Los Angeles at Texas

The LA Dodgers have truly underachieved in 2018. Amazingly, they have the same record as the Tampa Bay Rays at 70-61 who play in a division against the Red Sox and the Yankees. Injuries have played a big part in it all, but despite all that, they trail Arizona by just two games, and trail in the Wild Card standings by just 2.5 Walker Buehler (6-4, 2.96 ERA) has stepped up for the Dodgers. In their last game, Texas featured seven starters age 25-years-old or less and are clearly in a full blown rebuild. Tonight's starter Ariel Jurado (2-3, 6.40), has really struggled. LA comes in healthier and with momentum off a three-game sweep of San Diego, and have a decisive edge in motivation and on the hill. Play on LA.
