Los Angeles at St. Louis

Los Angeles will look to even the series with Clayton Kershaw on the mound and he is 6-3 with a 2.52 ERA and 1.02 WHIP although he admittedly didn't have his best stuff against Minnesota on Tuesday when he allowed two runs on seven hits in four innings. Kershaw has one appearance against St. Louis this season and he shut out the Cardinals for seven innings on two hits. Jack Flaherty has a 5.24 ERA and 1.58 WHIP although he does come off seven scoreless innings against Milwaukee when he was the recipient of a hitting explosion by his team in an 18-1 victory. Flaherty has given up 14 runs on 16 hits in 20 1/3 innings for a 6.20 ERA at home in 2023 and in one start against the Dodgers he was touched for five runs (four earned) on seven hits in 4 2/3 innings. The St. Louis bullpen is tied for sixth-worst in the majors with nine saves. Take the Dodgers.
