Clayton Kershaw is back and will make his first start since Sept. 5 and the Dodgers have won nine of his past 11 starts and he has allowed only 15 earned runs in that span. Seattle hitters are 7-for-44 for a .159 batting average with just one homer against Kershaw, who is 12-4 with a 2.61 ERA and 1.07 WHIP this season. The Mariners will counter with Bryce Miller and he gave up five runs on nine hits in five innings in a 6-3 loss to Tampa Bay his last outing.
