It is always noticeable when you get a very good home team as a home dog, and we have that here in San Francisco. The Dodgers have been losers on the road for the season at 25-27. The Giants have been home-dominating for the last three years and are 31-18 at home coming into this one. Barry Zito is having his best year in a while and his ERA at home has been nearly 1.5 runs better than what he has done on the road. Since going 35-19 in his first three years in the bigs, Chad Billingsley has fallen sharply since compiling a 40-42 mark, including just 5-9 this season for a winning team. The Dodgers are now just 5-12 the last 17 times he has taken the mound against a winning foe. The Gants are getting more out of Zito when he has five days of rest where they are 6-1 in his last seven with an extra day. Play on San Francisco.
