Los Angeles at San Diego

Los Angeles won again as Joc Pederson went 3-for-3 and hit two of the Dodgers' four home runs in a 6-4 victory over the Padres last night. The Dodgers improved to 59-22 at home and they have beaten San Diego four times in a row and six of the last seven meetings. The Padres are playing out the string and have lost 11 of their last 13 and Los Angeles is 23-5 in Clayton Kershaw's last 28 starts versus San Diego. Also, the Dodgers are 41-17 in Kershaw's last 58 road starts and they are 66-30 versus NL West teams. Kershaw has not slowed down since the All-Star break with an 8-3 record and 3.24 ERA the second half of the season and he has allowed nine earned runs in 26 innings against the Padres this year. Joey Lucchesi has given up 11 runs his last 7 2/3 innings pitched. Play the Dodgers.
