San Diego evened the series with a 10-2 thrashing of the Dodgers while hitting six homers, and things are getting testy between the two rivals. There was a 12-minute delay as fans threw objects on the field in the direction of San Diego left fielder Jurickson Profar. The Padres obviously know they are more than capable of beating Los Angeles as they did two years ago in the playoffs and the Padres have won five of the past eight meetings. Michael King is 13-9 with a 2.95 ERA and a 1.19 WHIP and he had a 1.57 ERA in September allowing just four earned runs in 23 innings. Walker Buehler has not been himself since coming off the injury list as he is 1-6 with a 5.38 ERA and a 1.55 WHIP although he gave up just a run on five hits in five innings against the Padres his last appearance on Sept. 26. The Dodgers have lost six playoff road games in a row. San Diego is 5-0-1 UNDER in King's past six starts and the Padres are 4-0-1 UNDER their past five home games versus right-handed starters. Take the Padres and the UNDER.
