Los Angeles at San Diego

Four of the Dodgers' last five games have gone UNDER the total while the Padres haven't gone OVER in six straight. Jon Garland has posted a 2.36 ERA in seeven games. At home, it's 1.89 and in his last three starts, his ERA is an incredible 0.45. Yes, Los Angeles can score, but I think Garland keeps them down enough here. The Padres bats have gone cold, producing just 3.7 runs per game over their last seven games and 3.5 per game in 18 division games this season. When instilled as a favorite the past three seasons, the Pads are 61-38 UNDER. That includes a 51-27 UNDER mark at home. Following a home game in which they allowed under 2 runs, they are 16-5 UNDER over the past couple of seasons. And, when Garland is given five or six days rest, he is 11-1 UNDER over that span. I like this one to stay very low scoring.
