Los Angeles at San Diego

San Diego bounced back from being no-hit on Friday with a 7-4 win over the Dodgers last night in Monterrey, Mexico. Eric Hosmer hit a two-run home run in the first, and Raffy Lopez hit a go-ahead two-run homer in the sixth as six pitchers combined to outlast the Dodgers. Ross Stripling goes for Los Angeles today, and he'll be making only his second start of the season. He didn't do too well the first time as he gave up four runs on eight hits in four innings at Arizona on April 30. The Dodgers have lost four of Stripling's last five road starts going back to last season, and they have lost five of their last seven overall following a loss in their previous game. Stripling was 1-4 with a 5.56 ERA on the road in 2017, and in 4 1/3 innings versus the Padres he allowed three runs on six hits. There is huge line value with San Diego in this matchup.
