Los Angeles at New York

The Yankees never seem to do well on the West Coast, and comes back home after a 4-6 trip there. They will go with Phil Hughes tonight vs. the Dodgers. Hughes has been awful on the road, but at home he has been about as good as it gets, especially vs. a losing team where the Yankees are 20-6 in his last 26 here, and overall the Yankees own a 41-17 mark in Hughes' last 58 trips to the mound at the Stadium in the Bronx. The Yanks have also dominated NL teams here, where they are an impressive 80-38 in their last 118. The Dodgers have been the worst interleague road team, outside of Pittsburgh, at 18-53 in their last 71. Just too many bad numbers to overcome here, so play on New York.
