It's been an awful trip too, ending a six-game skid the last game. Now they are a good-sized favorite with Clayton Kershaw on the hill. Still, the Dodgers are 2-2 in his four starts with an offense that is No. 28 in runs scored, No. 29 in slugging. The Dodgers are 2-6 in their last eight games when following an off day and 0-4 as a favorite. The Mets have no such offensive problems at No. 4 in baseball in runs scored, No. 8 in on-base percentage and No. 4 in slugging. The Mets are 9-3 in their last 12 home games vs. a team with a losing record and 4-1 in their last five home games.
