Los Angeles at Minnesota

The Minnesota Twins have done a lot with a small payroll, but back in 2010 they won just 94 games and things haven't improved. In fact, it has been all down hill since then as they have lost 96 or more games over the last three years. They appear to be heading in a good direction, as they are at .500 through 24 games this season. The Dodgers once again are overvalued, and are not playing to the level of talent they have on paper. Yesterday they got a strong outing from Zack Greinke. Today the Twins will get a shot at Dan Haren, someone they are very familiar with from his days in the AL, and have had success against. Haren is just 4-4 vs. the Twins in his career with a 3.89 ERA. Mike Pelfrey owns better numbers vs. the Dodgers with a 3.43 ERA in four starts against them. The Dodgers are a brutal 23-54 in their last 57 interleague road games. Take Minnesota in game one.
