Los Angeles at Milwaukee

Although he had a good performance against Atlanta in the NLDS, Clayton Kershaw's struggles in the postseason have been well-documented and he goes in Game 1 of the NLCS tonight. Kershaw made two starts against Milwaukee this season and allowed six runs (three earned) on 12 hits in 12 innings. Gio Gonzalez is on the mound for the Brewers and they have won his last five starts overall and his last four home starts. The Brewers have won 51 of their last 75 home games and 23 of their last 29 overall. Also, Milwaukee has won six straight following a day off and four straight versus left-handed starters.  Gonzalez came on strong toward the end of the regular season with a 3-0 record and 2.13 ERA in September. The Dodgers will be seeing him for the first time this season. He made one start against Los Angeles in 2017 and gave up two runs on four hits in six innings. There is big value in the home team in this matchup, so take the Brewers on the runline in Game 1.
