The Dodgers were expected to be a World Series contender, but instead find themselves buried in last place in the NL West. Rumors starting to fly that Don Mattingly is going to be fired as manager, and like the LA Lakers, the Dodgers are under-achieving in a big way. The Dodgers just seem to come up short because the offense has struggled mightily scoring runs. They have scored 3 runs or less in 28 games already on the season, and on the road when facing a runline vs. a team that has a big track record of winning at home, is going to take a yeoman's effort, something we have rarely seen from this team this season.
