The Angels managed only five hits while being shut out by Clayton Kershaw and two relievers last night, but they have Shohei Ohtani starting tonight and they still have won six of nine and have climbed into second place in the AL West. Ohtani is 6-2 with a 3.29 ERA and 1.05 WHIP and the Angels have won 10 of his past 13 starts and he allowed two runs on six hits in six innings in a 5-3 victory over Texas on Thursday. Michael Grove is probable for the Dodgers and he has a 8.10 ERA while allowing 27 runs on 39 hits in 30 innings this season. In three appearances on the road, Grove has given up 15 runs on 24 hits in 10 1/3 innings with a .444 opponent batting average. The Dodgers are 18-19 on the road and have lost six of their past 10 overall. Take the Angels.
