Los Angeles at Houston

Both of these teams have had great seasons. But when it comes down to a seven game series, it boils down to who is hot at the plate and who is filling in the innings at the end of the game. Houston's bats went cold vs. the Yankees yet they still won, but now those bats are heating up. The Dodgers' bullpen has crashed and burned in this series, and that apparent advantage doesn't seem to apply anymore. The arms have seen the mound a lot lately, with no success, and now some are not available. The Dodgers used eight pitchers in Game 2 and five in Game 3. Alex Wood is on the mound for just the second time in the postseason, and his first stint lasted just 4.1 innings, so the bullpen advantage has swung in favor of the Astros. Charlie Morton has been on in the postseason as well for the NL Champs. Houston has not lost at home in the postseason, so look for that to continue tonight. Play on Houston.
