Clayton Kershaw has earned his spot as the top pitcher in MLB right now, and he has not allowed a run in 24 innings of work. He will take that streak to Colorado tonight. Colorado has many times been a graveyard for top pitchers, and Kershaw has not been granted an exception here. He has 14 career starts in Denver, and eight of those have resulted in Colorado scoring 5 runs or more, and five of them show 8 runs or more. This is a whole different venue to try to pitch in, and certainly has negated his advantage, leaving a lot of value on the table for the home team. Jair Jurrjens is a quality proven major league starter with a 53-37 career record, and a career 3.63 ERA.
