The Colorado Rockies have a unique setting with the altitude in Colorado. They have parlayed that into dividends when playing at home. They won 50+ games here in three of the last four seasons, and have not had a losing record here since 2005 where they were one game under .500. Last year they won 52 games here and how far they have fallen. They stand to break that .500+ streak this season as they come into this one two games under .500 at home. They dealt their best pitcher before the trade deadline. They have a tough task tonight squaring off against Hiroki Kuroda. Kuroda has made six straight quality starts, and has allowed no runs in two of his last three starts. Meanwhile, Jason Hammel is having a horrible year at 7-11 with an ERA just shy of 5, and the Rockies show a dismal 1-7 mark when he pitches in the division in his last eight starts. The Dodgers are 5-1 in their last six vs. a losing team, and have the pitching edge here. Take the Dodgers in this one.
