Colorado has lost 10 of their last 12 games. Thank goodness for them they face LA with Jason Marquis this afternoon. Marquis is off a bad start but overall he's 2-1 for a team that has just 5 wins in 16 games. Against the Dodgers he's only suffered one loss in nine appearances, posting a 1.99 ERA. Los Angeles is averaging over 8 runs per game at home but on the road, they are much more pedestrian at 4.7. the Rockies are averaging 5.8 per game at home, and 5.4 per game overall vs. left-handers. Colorado's problem has been defense but with Marquis throwing this afternoon I like their chances. The Dodgers are just 7-18 dating back to last season on the road as a small favorite of -100 to -125. Colorado is 17-6 the past three seasons when looking to avoid the home sweep. They are also 24-15 as a home dog over that span. This is a very winnable game for the Rockies and I think they get it.
