Los Angeles at Cleveland

The Dodgers have had an August to remember. They are 17-3 in the month of August, and it has helped them to all but seal the NL West. There are signs that the unsustainable run has leveled off, as after opening the month 15-1, they are 2-2 in their last four games. The Dodgers are off a 10-game homestand and lost the opener here on Tuesday, before yesterday's rainout. I think the Dodgers may have a bit of that "fat cat" outlook in this series. Cleveland is still in contention in the weak AL Central, sitting in 2nd place, just four back in the loss column. Ryan Pepiot is just 1-2 on the road, while he is 4-0 at home. The Guardians have had success vs the Dodgers at 8-5 in the last 13 meetings, including 4-1 in the last five. I like Cleveland in this one.
