This is a tough spot for the Dodgers, off a nerve-wracking Game 5 showdown Thursday that went to the wire and now they head out on the road again. That game was at Washington, a 3,000 mile trip, and now they're in Chicago. This is the 11th road game over the last 13 contests for Los Angeles. The Dodgers are on a 3-7 run on the road, as well as 4-11 in playoff road games. Los Angeles goes with Kenta Maeda (0-1, 12.00 ERA), who was roughed up for four runs on five hits and a pair of walks over three innings in his NLDS start. He's also lost three in a row while posting an 11.17 ERA going back to the regular season. The Dodgers are 1-10 away against a lefty starter and face an ace in southpaw Jon Lester (19-5, 2.44 ERA). He shut down the Giants in his lone postseason start, now sporting a 2.63 ERA in 17 career postseason games (15 starts). The Cubs are on a 47-19 run, including 55-22 in their last 77 home games. Lester faced the Dodgers twice in the regular season and allowed a total of one run while striking out 16 over 15 innings. With Chicago 40-12 against a right-handed starter, grab the rested home team with their ace. Take Chicago in Game 1.
