The Chicago Cubs’ offense isn't as potent as it was the past couple of years, and overall they are scoring 4.8 runs vs. right-hand pitching, but it has been a completely different story facing a southpaw, where the production drops just about a full run a game to 3.9 runs per game. That has led to a 4-9-1 mark to the UNDER in their 14 games vs. a left-hand starter. The Dodgers have been solid vs. right-hand pitching, but Ryan Dempster has presented some problems for the Dodgers’ offense. They faced him twice last season, and in the two starts Dempster produced two games, working seven innings each and allowed zero earned runs. The Cubs are 8-1-2 to the UNDER behind Dempster as a favorite, and seven of the last 10 between these clubs have failed to reach the total. I'll go with this one to stay UNDER the total.
