Los Angeles bounced back and banged out 11 hits and beat the Cubs 9-4 on Saturday a day after the Dodgers managed only one hit in a 13-0 rout. James Outman went 4-for-5 with two homers and Max Muncy homered twice for the Dodgers, who will have Clayton Kershaw on the mound today and he is 9-4 with a 2.62 ERA versus the Cubs in his career. Kershaw is 3-1 with a 2.52 ERA and 0.92 WHIP this season and he comes off seven shutout innings on three hits against the Mets on Tuesday. Marcus Stroman is off to a great start for the Cubs, but the Dodgers are 42-15 their past 57 games against a starter with a WHIP of under 1.15.
