Austin Riley homered and drove in the winning run with a single in the bottom of the ninth to give Atlanta a 1-0 lead in the series, and now the Braves have Ian Anderson going tonight. He did not allow a run on three hits in five innings in his only postseason appearance this season against Milwaukee. Anderson finished the regular season 9-5 with a 3.58 ERA, including 5-1 and 3.52 at home. Max Scherzer starts for Los Angeles after he pitched the ninth inning against San Francisco on Thursday. Scherzer pitched 12 innings versus the Braves this season and gave up four runs on eight hits in 12 innings.
