It may look dangerous to play into what appears to be the odds-on favorite to capture the NL Cy Young award in Clayton Kershaw. Kershaw has had a remarkable season, but for all he has done the Dodgers are just 19-14 in his 33 starts. Kris Medlen worked his way from the bullpen to the starting rotation a year ago and has shined since making the move, concluding this season with a 3.11 ERA. His best work, however, came in his last six starts where the Braves went 5-1 and he pitched to a sparkling 0.84 ERA. The Braves are 24-6 in his last 30 home starts and overall, when he has an extra day of rest, they are 18-3. The Dodgers come in with a 1-5 road playoffs mark in their last six, and stand at just 2-5 in their last seven when played in Atlanta. Take the Braves.
