The Los Angeles Dodgers got off to a huge start, and looked like a team on their way to a 100-win season. Things changed dramatically since that start. Over their last 74 games they haven’t even been pedestrian, as they are a poor 32-42. That futility has gone on for almost a half of a season now. They bolstered their rotation, and lengthened their lineup for a stretch drive, but nothing has changed. The Dodgers have failed to score more than 3 runs in each of their last five games. Clayton Kershaw has been their best option, but he was scratched from Sunday's start with an ailing hip flexor muscle, so he may not be 100% here. The Dodgers’ poor offense continues to haunt them, and they are now 8-22 following a game where they scored 2 runs or less. The Diamondbacks have come up big behind Kennedy inside the division, now at 22-5 in his last 27 starts. Play on Arizona.
