Los Angeles at Arizona

Los Angeles is doing its usual postseason swoon and will have to depend on Lance Lynn to avoid being swept by Arizona, which has won all four of its playoff games while scoring 26 runs. The Diamondbacks again got off to a great start in Game 2 scoring three in the first on their way to a 4-2 victory on Monday, and the Dodgers were held to eight hits. Mookie Betts and Freddie Freeman were a combined 1-for-13 with three walks in the first two games of the series. Lynn had a 5.73 ERA this year although he did pitch well his last four starts of the regular season. The Dodgers have lost their past five playoff road games and their past five postseason games overall. Except for the 2020 shortened season, Los Angeles has had a pattern of cruising throught the regular season and then disappointing its fans in the playoffs.
