Arizona missed several scoring opportunities in losing 2-1 to the Dodgers on Wednesday night, but the Diamondbacks still lead the AL West by five games and they are 8-0 their last eight games following a loss. Also, the Diamondbacks have won five of the last six meetings at Arizona and 24 of their last 32 games versus left-handed starters. Alex Wood is 0-3 and the Dodgers have lost four of his six starts this season, including 8-3 at San Francisco on Saturday when he allowed four runs on six hits in six innings. Arizona has won six of Patrick Corbin's last seven starts and 16 of his last 21 home starts dating to last season. Corbin is 4-0 this season with a 2.25 ERA and he shut out the Dodgers for seven innings on April 4. The Dodgers had to use five relievers last night due to an injury to starter Hyun-Jin Ryu.
