The Arizona Diamondbacks were not considered a contender in the NL West at the start of the season, and they opened up looking like that was certainly the case. This team has certainly turned things up a notch and in their last 55 games they have gotten back into the race in the West as a viable contender with their 34-21 run. Clayton Kershaw has pitched well for the Dodgers, but he has been hit hard in a lot of games, allowing 6 runs or more in three of his last seven starts, which won't get it done here. The Dodgers offense is sub-par, and facing a lefty softens it even more, as they are now 0-7 against a portsider in their last seven. The D-Backs are taking the role of a dog seriously as they are at 13-5 in their last 18 as a dog of +110 to +150. The Dodgers’ struggles vs. left-handers puts a solid valued play here on the Diamondbacks with the runline. Play on Arizona and take the +1.5.
