Los Angeles at Arizona

The Los Angeles Dodgers had assembled one of the best rotations in baseball, but injuries have really crippled them. They have lost Josh Beckett for the season, Jack Greinke is dealing with elbow issues, and Hyun-Jin Ryu is now on the DL with a hip injury. That means they need others to step up and Roberto Hernandez will get his turn. He will have to out-duel Arizona starter Trevor Cahill, which won't be an easy task. Cahill has made five consecutive quality starts as he appears to have worked out his problems. His last four show him not allowing more than 2 runs in any of them. Overall during the five game stretch, his ERA is a crisp 2.23. The Dodgers are a no-show in their last seven on the road vs. a losing team at just 2-5, and Arizona is now 6-2 behind Cahill in his last eight if he is off a quality start in his last outing. Go with Arizona in this one.
