It has been the second consecutive lost season for the Los Angeles Angels that on paper, figured to challenge in the AL, but simply have not been the team on the field as they appeared to be on paper. Toronto has had a disappointing season, but they are in a division that has four teams competing for a playoffs spot. The problem that has presented for the Jays is that they have played 106 games against teams that are .500 or better, while the next most games vs. .500 or better teams is 86. Clearly they have faced the most difficult schedule of any team by far, so they certainly look under-valued as a slight home dog here. The Angels are not getting it done vs. left-handed pitching at 5-12 in their last 17, and they stand at just 1-6 behind Richard in his last seven road starts. Take Toronto as my MLB Game of the Month.
