The Jays are 10-5 vs. LA over the past three seasons including 6-3 here in Toronto. Anaheim is off a big 7-2 win over Detroit but prior to that they lost six straight giving up 6, 8 and 10 runs in three of those games while scoring 1 run or less three times. The Detroit win does NOT mean LA has figured things out. Teams that are pounding the ball like Toronto (AVG .290 or better) with a starting pitcher whose ERA is 4.20 to 4.70 facing a good starting pitcher (ERA under 4.20) are 37-13 (74%) since 1997. Also, road teams batting under .260 facing a team with a bad bullpen (ERA over 5.00) are 22-47 (32%) in May games over the past five seasons. Bottom line - Toronto is knocking the heck out of the ball while the Angels can't hit the broad side of a barn. Toronto at home.
