The Toronto Blue Jays have lost the respect from the oddsmakers as they are just a few days out of a nine game losing streak. What isn't noted is all nine of those losses occurred on the road. They picked up the pieces, came home and have now won three out of four, running their home record to 19-7, tying the Dodgers for the most wins in their own park. So now they are a home dog to a team that is below .500 on the road and just .500 overall? I'm not buying it. Casey Janssen has been quite pedestrian on the season, but a quick look at his body of work against the Angels shows otherwise. Janssen has an 0.47ERA vs the Angels for his career and has dominated them, allowing just five hits in 19 innings, hardly numbers you'd expect to see on an underdog. Jays get the call in this one.
