Los Angeles swept a doubleheader from the Tigers on Thursday and the Angels are wasting no time starting newly-acquired Lucas Giolito, who had a 3.79 ERA and 1.22 WHIP with the Chicago White Sox before being traded this week. Giolito has faced Toronto once this year and allowed two runs on four hits in six innings. Kevin Gausman is 7-5 with a 3.18 ERA and 1.12 WHIP and the Blue Jays have lost his past four starts although in three of them he didn't get much run support and he has given up only 12 runs his past five appearances in 29 innings pitched. Gausman has a 2.58 ERA and .214 opponent batting average in home games this season. Curiously.
