It has become very apparent that this Angels team has a weaker staff that lacks an ace at the top of the rotation, and a weaker lineup top to bottom than last year. And the results don't lie, this team is under .500 nearing the quarter pole. Scott Kazmir unfortunately may have his best years behind him at a young age as injuries have taken their toll. He operates here with a 6.82 ERA on the season. He continues to be erratic, walking 17 in his last 20.2 innings. The Angels’ road woes are apparent with a 2-8 mark in their last 10, while the Rangers are coming up aces behind Holland as a home chalk, sitting at 5-1 in their last six. I'll ride the Rangers in this AL West showdown.
