Last year at this time, the Texas Rangers held a five game lead on the Angels in the loss column. That number this year has swelled to eight. The Rangers ended up finishing 10 games behind the Angels last year and a repeat is not likely. The Rangers have the pitching and hitting this year, and are a much better team than the Angels. The Angels have gotten nothing done on the road lately as they are just 2-10 in their last 12 road games, and 1-7 vs. winning teams in their last eight. The Rangers are getting it done as a slight to moderate home chalk at 17-5 from -110 to -150. They are also bombing right hand starters at home to the tune of a 25-12 mark in their last 37. This one belongs to Texas.
