Los Angeles at Texas

The Texas Rangers had the good fortune of facing Seattle over the weekend, edging them by a single run on Saturday and Sunday to take the three-game set, 2-1. Last in the AL West, Texas will take the wins any way they can get them and yesterday marked the Rangers first back-to-back wins since June. Right-hander Dane Dunning (4-7, 4.20 ERA) will start for Texas tonight and although he beat Arizona in his last outing, Dunning was pounded for seven runs in just four innings the last time he faced Los Angeles. The Angels are just a game below .500 and they'll look to use this four-game set as an opportunity to build some momentum. LA is 6-0 in its past six vs. teams with a sub-400 record and they've averaged 7.0 runs per game in those six. LA's bats were quiet against the A's but this is a big chance to wake up the sticks, at a bargain price. Take the Los Angeles Angels.
