Garrett Richards was the beneficiary of a 13-run outburst by the Angels in a win over Cleveland on Tuesday. Richards has allowed six runs in 10 2/3 innings this season, and last year he appeared in only six games after recovering from an injury. One of them was against Texas where he gave up three runs in 3 2/3 innings. Los Angeles has gone OVER three of its last five while scoring a total of 38 runs in that span with a lot of it having to do with phenom Shohei Ohtani. Texas went OVER in a 7-4 loss to Toronto on Sunday, and today has Doug Fister going. He's not the same pitcher he used to be as he's allowed six runs (three earned) in 8 2/3 innings this season. The OVER is 15-5 in Richards' last 20 road starts, and the OVER is 11-3-1 in his last 15 starts in the first game of a series. Take the OVER.
