The Seattle Mariners are certainly light years better than the team that lost over 100 games a year ago. They stand at seven games over .500 at home on the season. They have been good in bounce-back situations this as they possess a .609 winning percentage after a loss. And we get them as a dog here playing at home. We also have exact trends that point opposite of one another here. The Angels have dropped six straight when their opponent gave up five runs or more in their last game, while the Mariners have won five straight after allowing five runs or more in their last game. The Mariners have been chewing up right-hand pitching at home as they are now 18-8 in their last 26 against a righthander at home. Ervin Santana is hard to trust for the Angels as he is pitching to nearly a 6 ERA on the season, and can implode in any given game. I'll go with the Mariners here.
