Los Angeles at Seattle

Jered Weaver has had an outstanding season thus far for the Angels. He is at least in the conversation for AL Cy Young honors, pitching to a 2.24 ERA. Facing a light-hitting Mariners lineup should pretty much guarantee at the very least, LA is in the game late. The Mariners are just 4-6 in their last 10 and Doug Fister hasn't been able to deliver wins, as the M's are just 4-9 in his 13 starts this season. The Angels have been their road best vs. right-handers where they are 16-7 in their last 23. The M's are just 16-35 in Fister's last 51 starts, and an even worse 7-21 following a team loss. The Angels are fattening up on Seattle at 40-18 in the last 58 meetings, including 6-1 behind Weaver. LA gets this one.
