Los Angeles at Oakland

Los Angeles came through with a 9-7 win on Tuesday as Kaleb Cowart hit a grand slam and the Angels scored six runs in the sixth inning and Oakland suffered its third loss in a row. Brett Anderson goes tonight for the Athletics and he has been touched for nine runs on 14 hits his last two starts in only six innings pitched. The Athletics have lost four of his last five starts and he is 2-4 with a 5.15 ERA in night games this season. Oakland has fallen five games behind first-place Houston in the AL West and now is battling the Yankees for the top Wild Card spot. The Angels have won their last five road games and six of their last eight road games against left-handed starters. Also, the Angels have won five of the last seven meetings at Oakland, which is 2-6 in Anderson's last eight starts against the Angels. Felix Pena comes off three quality starts, including an 8-1 win over Texas last Wednesday. Go with the road underdog Angels.
