Los Angeles at Oakland

The Oakland A's are at it again. This is a team that has gotten more out of less than any organization in baseball. They were not considered to be a contender this season, but here we are into the dog days of August and the A's are very much in it. Last night they were victimized, like every other team in the league, by Jered Weaver who moved to 15-1 with the 4-0 shutout. Tonight they should have far more opportunities against a struggling CJ Wilson who has seen his team lose five of his last six starts, where his ERA has been a lofty 5.67. The A's wheel-out the hot veteran Bartolo Colon who has not allowed a run in each of his last two starts, and 1 or less in five of his last seven. The Angels are now 0-5 behind Wilson in his last five starts vs. a winning team, while the A's are a magical 10-1 in their last 11 as a dog from +110 to +150. Play on Oakland.
