Minnesota has won six of Pablo Lopez's past nine starts as he finally is making the trade look good that sent AL batting champion Luis Arraez to Miami. Lopez did give up five runs in five innings against the White Sox on Saturday, but had allowed only 11 earned runs in 62 innings before that. August and September have been his best months this year and he has faced the Angels once this season and allowed two runs on five hits in six innings. Los Angeles called up Davis Daniel from Triple-A to give it some innings in this game and he pitched three scoreless innings in his MLB debut against Cleveland on Sept. 7 before being sent down again. The Twins have won six of nine and can clinch the AL Central with a win or Cleveland loss. The Angels have lost 35 of 51 games in a disastrous season with Mike Trout, Shohei Ohtani and Anthony Rendon all out with injuries.
