Los Angeles at Minnesota

The Los Angeles Angels have been a disappointing team over the last two seasons. This is a team that projects high, but plays low. They finally seemed to put things together and have passed the Oakland A's and are getting out of their talent what everyone has expected over the last three seasons. The caveat, and lesson to be learned is that this is a fractured team. They just swept Oakland in four straight games, and it seems that the team mentality has become "we got this." They just got swept in a two game series vs. lowly Houston, and now they face a Minnesota team that will continue the lackluster attitude that we have seen a lot of over the past 2+ years. Minnesota is a bad team with two good starters in Gibson and Hughes. They have a winning record when one of those pitchers gets the ball. LA has been weak behind Santiago at 2-7 in his last nine road starts, and with just one win in their last five tries in Minnesota, the dog has some teeth in this one. Take the Twins.
