A chilly night is expected in Minnesota, and that shouldn't help the cause of the Angels’ attack that has been much weaker than advertised. Albert Pujols did swat his first homer of the year a couple games back, but he is still below the Mendoza line at .197 and hasn't reached double-digit RBI yet into the second week of May. The Twins have been known to wheel out some left-handed gems from their system and tonight Scott Diamond attempts to become the next. Dan Haren is a product of the Angels’ offensive struggles this season, with a respectable 3.43 ERA, the Halos are 1-5 in his six starts, and a miserable 0-6 when he takes his turn with a regular four days of rest. Take Minnesota in this one.
