Albert Pujols hit his first home run of the season, but his perils at the plate certainly aren't over. He has now dropped below the Mendoza line, hitting .196 and has just 7 RBI on the season. It has been a struggle all season for the Angels to produce runs, and that is attributing to their 3-9 mark on the road, where they have no right being large chalk vs. anyone. The Twins haven't been much better at home where they are 3-8 and Francisco Liriano, who is more than capable of delivering a gem has struggled big time. Jered Weaver commands respect on the hill for the Angels, but the Twins have had his number here as the Angels are 1-5 in his last six starts in Minnesota. The Twins are in their sweet spot, coming home after a seven-day road trip or longer where they are 53-25 in their first game back. Play on Minnesota.
