Florida has lost 10 straight, but they have won their last two if getting +1.5. Often it's right around this time that a team has value as everyone gets off them, shading the lines. I like their chances tonight to at least keep this game close. While at 7-13 in day games, the Marlins actually own a winning record in night games this season. The Angels come in averaging just 3.7 runs per game, so this is certainly a winnable game for Florida. Ervin Santana has decent numbers, but he is just 3-7 on the season. When facing a -1.5 runline this season with odds at +115 to +160 (as is the case today), the Angels are just 6-20 vs. the number. They are also just 14-21 this season following a win.
