The Dodger lineup is balanced and has some pop, but what it has struggled to master is lefthand pitching. The Dodgers come into this one scoring just 3.8 runs a game vs lefthanders. Scott Kazmir is a streaky pitcher and right now his streak good, allowing just a single run in each of his last two starts. John Ely may be a rookie, but he certainly hasn't showed it. He had some jitters in his first start vs the Mets allowing five runs in six innings, but has been magnificent since. Ely has made seven starts working 45 innings and allowing just 12 runs for an ERA of an un-rookie like 2.40. Kazmir's last 11 road starts have resulted in eight UNDERS, while the Dodgers last 30 interleague games vs teams with a winning record show a 19-9-2 mark to the UNDER. I'll go UNDER the total here.
