The Houston Astros are in good shape as they lead both Oakland and Seattle by 5.5 games and are pretty certain to be the winner in the AL West with just 23 games remaining in the season. The Angels have a lot of incentive as a team with Shohei Otani on the mound tonight. Otani is certainly in the running for the AL MVP award, and notching another win to go with his superior offensive season is just another feather in his cap for MVP honors. Houston has been playing without a lot of emotion lately as the Astros are just 4-6 in their last 10 games, and they are certainly vulnerable here to an Angels team that has some extra incentive tonight.
